The Low Wood Events Team- Red Nose Day 2009-06-04

The team from Low Wood Events, a few of our dedicated colleagues English Lakes Hotel Group and some family friends raised over £2000 when we pushed a giant red nose up one of the highest mountains in the Lake District for Red Nose Day on Friday 13th March 2009

The ascent took over 3 hours to push the 4 metre diameter inflatable red nose to a height of 2850ft up Skiddaw, when low cloud and high winds forced us to stop just short of the summit. However, it was a fantastic adventure, a great team building exercise and enormous fun! We rattled collection buckets all the way and surprised many walkers who still managed to donate a few pounds even at 1200ft up!

We’re all looking forward to the next Red Nose day in 2 years’ time but in the meantime if your teams want to develop and experience an adventurous Team Building exercise with a charitable basis, just contact us and we’ll be happy to develop something equally as exciting and challenging! Please also view our Charity Challenges pages for more information and ideas.
